About Us
The Town of Niagara Business and Professional Association, located in the Town of
Niagara, County of Niagara, in beautiful Western New York, creates opportunities for
businesses to network with other business owners and professionals, become
involved in the community, and promote your business by becoming an active
member in the association.
The mission statement of the TNBPA is to develop, promote, and improve the
business climate in the Town of Niagara.
Established in 1996, The Town of Niagara Business and Professional Association
was formed by local business owners and managers as well as professionals to
develop a partnership between local government and community organizations.

Committee Information
Annual Dinner & Awards
Ceremony:
Margie Blakely & Kim Hayes, Hayes Door, Chairpeople.
This annual event is held each year in January and is the
venue to highlight the accomplishments of the organization
as well as honor our award recipients, chosen by the board
of directors. The chairperson is responsible for this event
and must organize and advertise this event. This event
includes dinner, awards, programs, fund raising program
books, basket give away, item raffle, and an interesting
evening for all our members

The TNBPA is committed to enhance the Town of Niagara
by utilizing grant funding for beautification projects. The
chairperson of this committee is responsible to propose a
beautification project as well as a budget and work with the
Town of Niagara Beautification Committee. The Board must
approve all projects no later than the March board meeting.
Beautification:
The chairperson is responsible to attend the Greater
Niagara Business Alliance meetings to report all planned
events and share information in order for events to be
coordinated and avoid conflicts with surrounding business
associations.
Business Association
Liaison:
This committee is responsible to review all the by-laws on
a yearly basis and bring before the board any proposed
changes. Any changes to the by-laws must be presented
to the board no later than the May board meeting and
must notify the membership no less than 30 days before a
full membership meeting to vote on the proposed changes.
By-Law Review:
Kim Hayes, AAA Western and Central NY,
Chairperson. The person or persons on this committee
are responsible for attending the work sessions of the
Town of Niagara in order to report to the Board of Directors
any issues that may affect business in our Town as well
as bring before the board any county government issues,
which would affect business.
Government:
Butch Lore, Majestic Granite, Gary Strenkowski,
Strenskowski Bros. Construction, and Adam Savard,
HSBC, Co-Chairs. An important role in the TNBPA is to
respond to membership inquiries in a timely manner as
well as personal contact. All directors of the TNBPA are
members of the membership team. The chairperson is
responsible to mail letters to prospective members,
distribute membership brochures, process membership
applications, keep an accurate and up to date membership
list, and organize a yearly membership drive.
Membership:
Eugene Colucci, Genes Wholesale, Chairperson. This
committee is responsible to plan networking mixers or
after hour events for the membership to create a venue to
promote business. Guest speakers can present materials
of interest to the membership or community. Guest
speakers cannot hold political office, unless approved by
the Board of Directors.
Mixers & Networking
Events:
Eugene Colucci, Gene's Wholesale, Chairperson. The
newsletter is published six (6) times per year and includes
two town-wide mailings. This committee is responsible to
gather articles from all committees in order to keep the
membership up to date with current information regarding
the association; solicit sponsors for the newsletter;
oversee the timely mailing of the newsletter; and
coordinate its publication either in-house or outside
secretarial service.
Newsletter:
Kathy Ligammari, AAA Western and Central NY,
Chairperson. Getting to know the membership and seek
out members willing to serve on the board of directors of
the association is an important function of the TNBPA in
order to keep this organization from getting stagnate. The
membership must be notified that nominations to the
board are being solicited; a ballot for the purpose of
election must be generated and mailed to the membership
by September 1st. Votes are tabulated and directors
appointed by the October/November board meeting. The
membership must be given 30 days to submit
nominations. In addition, a 30-day notice is given of the
director’s slate.
Nominations:
Eugene Colucci, Gene's Wholesale, Chairperson. This
committee is responsible for promotions handle all press
releases regarding events, networking mixers, and
accomplishments of the association.
Promotions:
Margie Blakely & Alessandro Renzi, Beyondus, Inc,
Co-Chairs. The scholarship committee consists of two (2)
board members. Scholarship applications must be
solicited to area high schools, public and private. All
candidates must be interviewed and the scholarship winner
must be chosen no later than the May board meeting.
Scholarship:
Butch Lore, Majestic Granite, and Gary Strenkowski,
Strenskowski Bros. Construction, Co-Chairs. The
annual steak out is held each year in the month of August.
The committee chair is responsible to organize and
advertise this event, as well as oversee basket auctions
and 50/50 split fundraising opportunities.
Steak Out:
Eugene Colucci, Genes Wholesale, Chairperson. This
committee is responsible to keep the TNBPA website up
to date with information regarding mixers, events, etc. The
chairperson works directly with the website developer and
host to make sure everything is kept up to date.
